The 2D drop flower piping tip also works well with fresh cream, meringue and royal icing used in a disposable, fabric or parchment piping bag.
Make sure your cupcake has a flat even top when creating an easy rose and start from the centre, working your way outwards towards the edge.
For a lovely piped ice cream swirl, start from the outside working inwards and upwards.
